Good News!

I am fairly positive that only two to three people read my blog, but if you do, you now know that Jesse and I have been APPROVED to adopt through Ethiopia!! We were told by a wonderfully sarcastic friend that this proves that they will approve just about anyone. :) ha ha ha.

I can't stop smiling. I LOVE how real it all feels. We cannot wait!!!
Alrighty - there is the update. :)

We Are Expecting!!!

Jesse and I have officially mailed in our adoption application! We are planning on adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia within the next 12-18 months. We are BEYOND excited to have finally been able to take this step.

Baby Girl! You have a family that cannot WAIT to meet you and we all already love you!
PS. Your big brothers are especially excited.

A quick Get-a-way to the Oregon Coast

We came down for a spur of the moment/short/last chance before school starts/daddy is recording & gone all weekend trip to my parents. We had a chance to make a run for the coast yesterday. It was socked in with fog but gorgeous and the boys had a blast. We went with my brother and sister in law and Cousin Landon. Here are a few shots that Jenna took. (She is a super talented photographer and one of the photographers for Pictures for a Purpose.)

I don't know about you but I can just feel myself relaxing at the beach...

Little Boy Paradise

We decided to take a last minute trip down to Gaga and Papa's (my parents) House before Pre-School starts back up. My kids LOVE IT HERE. Let me say it again. My kids LOVE IT HERE. They have been begging to come back down since we left 1 1/2 months ago. Here is what a typical day looks like:

- Wake up and eat Cocoa Krispies with Papa.
- Go feed the cows and horses with Papa on the Four Wheeler.
- Play with "Miss Kretta," my parent's chocolate lab. (Her name is Greta.)
- Ride down the driveway on John Deere Baby Gator and John Deere Baby Digger.
- Ride bikes.
- Come in for a snack.
- Cousin Landon "Lando" comes up to play.
- Go for a horse back ride.
- Go swimming at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's House.
- Go fishing with Uncle Koo Koo (my brother), Papa and Great Grandpa.
- Come home and ride around on the John Deere toys again.
- Take our smaller digging toys outside to dig in the dirt.

I am thinking that this might be a better home for them but my parents don't seem willing.
