Words from Liam

Liam has been particularly hilarious lately (and also started "back talking" me - but that's another post). He has been experimenting with phrases and sayings that he hears.

Here is something that he said a couple of weeks ago while at church with Jesse. The worship team had just finished sound checking and he decided that he wanted their attention. He shouted,

"Hey everybody! Listen up! Do what you do - but DO NOT go potty in the pants!"

Liam and I were sitting at the table eating lunch a few days ago. We were having a stranger than normal conversation. He was saying things like...

"Mama. I wish my name was Joel. Why didn't you name me Joel."

"Mama. How tall are you?"
I answered, "5'3"."
Liam shakes his head and looks at me like I might be crazy and says, "Weird."

Yes Liam, that is weird...

Some of my Faves

I know that there are a lot here but bear with me... These are just a few of my favorite shots from our Family Pictures done by the oh so talented, Amy Cheng. She's really good. If you were there, you would know that Finn was not pleased to be photographed and that Liam was ready to play at the nearby playground after about 1 minute. She's good.

The Family Photo "Outtakes"

We had my friend Amy Cheng take our Family Photos this year. She is a very gifted photographer and I am sure that we will have a lot of great photos to choose from. BUT, being the Butterworth's, we seem to have a lot of outtakes too. Amy felt the need to shoot us a few while editing last night. I will post normal shots too but these are just more fun. I hope that you laugh as hard as we did when we opened our email...

I couldn't get Finn to be happy with me. I fear we didn't get one good shot of just Finn and his Mama.

Liam was starting to get SOOOO tired.

OK. I nearly peed myself when I saw this one. Look how creepy Jesse looks! Finn looks mildly evil. I look totally clueless. Liam had had it by then. Merry Christmas!

Amy told us to "interact" here. Wow. What are we doing?
